Our 20ft refrigerated containers are available in both operational and non-operational condition, providing flexible solutions for temperature-controlled storage, insulated storage and specialist commercial applications.
Operational reefers are supplied with working refrigeration machinery and are PTI tested before supply, while non-operational units retain their insulated construction for applications where active cooling is not required.
20ft Refrigerated Containers Options & Applications
Refrigerated containers, or reefer containers as commonly known are used to transport frozen cargo and are built in standard sizes, designed with thermal insulation and temperature control are the perfect solution to store perishable goods. We also offer non-operational units that are ideal for sensitive goods storage, pop shops, kitchen, bars, houses, and office conversions as the second-hand option usually comes without a temperature system but still has the insulation with polyurethane that prevents condensation and keeps its internal temperature. It has been commonly used by Wood companies for dry wood kiln construction.
Refrigerated containers are a really good option as they have a Maintenance-free aluminium and stainless construction. Excellent value when compared to a standard 20ft used container with plyline & insulation.

Non-Operational Reefer
Non-operational units are ideal for sensitive goods storage, pop shops, kitchen, bars, houses, and office conversions as the second-hand option usually comes without a temperature system and the reefer engine does not work. However, it still has insulation that prevents condensation and keeps its internal temperature. It's been commonly used for Wood dry kilns as well.
They are typically 10-17 years old, however, they are still structurally sound and will provide dry and secure storage for another 10+ years.
